H & H going the extra MILE…

When one piece of glass was missing from a delivery it stood to jeoradise a planned weekend installation at Great Portland Street London. As the missing glass was to be installed on the 5th floor a Road Closure had been arranged to accommodate the Crane which was to lift the glass up to the fitting team.

H & H knew that we had to go the extra mile. And so our MD Alan Hilsdon, son & estimator Mark Hilsdon went an extra 2050 miles. And so they embarked on a 72 hour journey to Austria and back in order to meet the critical deadlines in London. With 5 o’clock starts and turns at driving and exacting timing they met both collection times Eurostar crossings and arrived in good time on site in London.
